Next Step Systems was founded in 1995 as Chicago IT recruitment agency focusing on the fast-growing tech industry in the Chicago area. Since then, the market has exploded and we have expanded with it, now providing our recruitment services across a range of major cities and areas in the United States. We place IT professionals in a wide range of roles with opportunities for growth, development, newcomers to the industry and for those looking for career changes either from another industry or within the vast IT market.

In 2014, we cemented our commitment to expansion by acquiring IT staffing firm Parallel Partners, another established Chicago IT recruiting firm. This has allowed us to increase our reach and benefit from the years of in-depth experience that Parallel Partners has within the industry. We are committed to staying ahead of the curve in one of the world’s fastest-moving industries and this strategic move has allowed us to strengthen our efforts and provide the best cutting-edge opportunities for our candidates and clients.

We now accept resumes for IT jobs from candidates with all levels of experience from all over the United States. As we are focused on finding the best candidate for each role we have available, it can be a time-consuming process to go through every resume we receive. However, we are committed to doing so, ensuring that we carefully review every candidate’s skill sets, goals, salary expectations and experience to get them matched with a role that they are likely to stay and develop in. Our greatest reward is the success stories that we have helped create through our careful approach – a high level of detail rather than high turnover.
